I have a USSF national D soccer license and coached girls soccer at many levels. As a mom of 3 boys, I've coached my oldest son's coed rec team (while pregnant). I know I connect, teach and inspire both girls & boys on the team. It's the other adults that exhaust me. There's a few "dad coaches" who'll try to crush my hand while doing the pre-game shake. Seriously, this was in U7 rec soccer. This summer I'm taking USA Triathlon's level 1 coaching clinic. I'm very interested to see what the class mix is like. Both my husband and I have completed triathlons of all distance (sprint to Ironman). I write encouragement for triathletes on my blog. We're actually driving to Lakeville MN this weekend for a bike event. Brrrrr! :-) Sara Cox Landolt Great topic and fascinating research area.
